After realizing that I may stick around for a while, my doc convinced me to see a nutritionist.  Get it while you can, says Janis Joplin.  So I looked up the 20 superfoods everyone should eat daily and I found it to be not so huge of a change, as I might have imagined.

Diabetes 2 is looming, so it is my intention to make the change.  It just so happens that I got the news in the new year.

so I drank green tea that had chia seeds soaked in it.  it was lumpy good because those tiny seeds grow a chewy membrane.  supposedly the drinking of green tea three times a day is super healthy.  That kept me full for an hour and then I ate nonfat greek yogurt with blackberries.  I was full until lunch.  I at a small pack of cranberries, almonds, yellow raisins, walnuts, and pistachios.  I put the range on high an poured garlic infused olive oil in the frying pan with onions, kale, red quinoa (already cooked, 4 minutes in the microwave).  I put it in a bowl with some nofat feta cheese crumbs and half a lemon's juice. It was easy and super filling.  For dinner, I baked a small sweet potato and fried in olive oil chopped turkey tenders and crushed ginger and 21 season salute from trader joe's (all the rest, too).  Just sayin'.  For desert we had dark chocolate almonds and split of banana.  Right before bed, I had chocolate almond milk.  And sweet dreams.
